FCM Group worked with Francoise Murat Associates (Garden & Landscape Design) who had designed a wildlife-friendly vegetable and fruit garden at Brockhurst County Junior School in Gosport as part of the Social Responsibility in the Community Gosport Impact Project. This was commissioned by The Education Business Partnership. The EBP Impact Project is an initiative based on the need to improve the skills capacity of both the current and future workforce and adopt a dual approach that embraces and integrates business and education sectors.
FCM provided the labour and resources to carry out the works. Richard Rhodes, the Managing Director of FCM, is currently working with another school in the area to manufacture a weather shelter which the children of the school have been designing as part of the Impact Project.
FCM is also working with the Portsmouth EBP on other school projects in the area.
FCM Group sponsors the 'Paddle for Life' Canoe and Kayak Expedition
FCM Group sponsored Paddle for Life, an around-the-Isle-of-Wight kayak expedition. The charity needs ongoing support to raise funds for Dreams Come True, Cancer Research UK and The Machiguenga Indians. FCM Facilities provided a safety vessel for the event.
